Our Mission
Gather and distribute funding for all facets
of the Arts in West TN.
We support musicians and songwriters, theatre and dance, and the breadth of the performing and creative arts. Our distributions will help unique, urgent, or (slightly) underfunded needs and unexpected opportunities.

Funds for IMPACT are gathered via personal relationships with donors who give major gifts as they define them and via peer to peer fundraising relationships.

IMPACT the Arts West TN - What we do! (and don't do.)
Our Mission and Vision
- Gather and distribute funding for all facets of the Arts in West TN. We support musicians and songwriters, theatre and dance, and the breadth of the performing and creative arts.
- Build individual donor relationships via “major gifts,” and "peer to peer."
- Build BRIDGES to connect donors with artists and creators and organizations that create.
- We honor and respect the existing grant making organizations that help to fund the arts. IMPACT can be considered a possible help between grant cycles.
Examples of fund distribution possibilities
- Up leveled hair and makeup support for local theatre productions
- Collaborative work among various artists in the performing and creative arts.
- Individual artists showcasing work - visual or performing - jury competition fees; application fees…
- Costuming for local theatre and dance students who may not have funds for recital costumes
- Audition funding support for regional performers going to the next level - state, regional, national and beyond
Advisors and Ambassadors
- Ambassadors for IMPACT - Eyes and ears and voices for building relationships in the community with folks who would benefit from making IMPACT - donors and artists and arts organizations.
- Gatherers and Distributors - We can all be gatherers by telling stories about why the Arts are important to us and to our community. We can also all be distributors by keeping an eye open for where there is need that we can make IMPACT.
- Storytellers - Tell the story of an artist or arts event. WHEN people ask, “Wow, that’s cool - how can I help?” We will have answers.

Support IMPACT the Arts West TN Theater
Your gifts will help support artists and performers and arts organizations across West TN.
What we DON'T do or ever intend to do!
- Programs - IMPACT as a fund, will not create or produce programs, content, events. We do support the people and organizations that do this work.
- Duplicate - IMPACT works to collaborate and not duplicate things that are already being done in the Arts funding environment. We intend to be a bridge between donors who have a heart for the arts and want to make IMPACT.
- Special event fundraising - There will be NO "rubber chicken," "grip and grin," galas or extravaganzas to gather friends or funds. No silent auctions or asking artists to donate time or works of art to raise money.
